Toppan Global Venture Partners, Inc.(“TGVP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an investment management company, with the aim of accelerating open innovation based on collaborating with promising startups. TGVP takes our responsibilities with respect to privacy and security seriously. We are providing you this Privacy Policy because we know that you care about how your Personal Information is processed.

This Privacy Policy covers data that TGVP collects, uses, and discloses from our corporate website (“Website”). This Privacy Policy does not cover data that is collected, used, or disclosed by TGVP’s parent company, Toppan, Inc. Nor does this Privacy Policy apply to the privacy practices of companies we do not control (including any portfolio companies), to information regarding investors in TGVP’s investment funds, or to information regarding employees of TGVP.

I. INFORMATION WE COLLECT.

a. Information about you that you provide.

TGVP and third-party vendors which provide services to us (“Service Providers”), may collect information you provide directly to TGVP and/or its Service Providers via the Website. For example, TGVP collects information when you submit an inquiry via the “Contact Us” form on our Website. We collect business contact information from visitors and clients who wish to obtain information or support regarding TGVP or its investment funds. Contact information is provided via browser forms, online order forms, email, and during events via submission of business cards or physical forms and includes first name, last name, business email address, job title, name of your organization, country, business phone number, and organization type.

b. Aggregate and Usage Information.

In an ongoing effort to better understand visitors to our Website, and how they interact with our Website, we may analyze your information in aggregate form to operate, maintain, manage, and improve our Website. This aggregate information does not identify you personally. We may share this aggregate information with our affiliates, parent company, business partners, and Service Providers. We may also disclose aggregated user statistics in order to describe our Website to current and prospective business partners, and to other third parties for additional lawful purposes.

TGVP and its Service Providers may also automatically collect certain information about you when you access or use the Website (“Usage Information”). III. HOWAND WHY WE DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

a. Disclosures to Third Parties. 

Like many businesses, we hire other companies to perform certain business-related services. We may disclose Personal Information to certain types of third-party companies but only to the extent needed to enable them to provide such services. The types of companies that may receive Personal Information and their functions are: direct marketing assistance companies (including disclosure to our distributors for direct marketing of our Technology Solutions), data storage and hosting services, and disaster recovery services. Also, both TGVP and the Third-Party may have access to certain information about you and your use of the Service and other Third-Party Services.

TGVP may use Google Analytics or other Service Providers for analytics services. These analytics services may use cookies and other tracking technologies to help TGVP analyze Website users and how they use the Website. TGVP is not responsible for, and makes no representations regarding, the policies or business practices of any third parties, including, without limitation, analytics Service Providers and Third-Party Services associated with the Website. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with and consult their privacy policies and terms of use. We do not recognize browser“Do Not Track” signals.

V. YOUR RIGHTS.

a. Opt-Out for DirectMarketing; Email Management. 

You may opt out at any time from the use of your Personal Information for direct marketing purposes, and/or the transfer of your Personal Information to third parties for direct marketing purposes, by emailing info@tgvp.vc. Please allow us a reasonable time to process your request. You may also manage your receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe here” link located on the bottom of any TGVP marketing email communications and following the instructions found on the page to which the link takes you. You cannot opt out of receiving transactional emails related to your account.

VI. YOUR SECURITY.

We take the security and privacy of the Personal Information that we collect pursuant to this Privacy Policy very seriously. Accordingly, we will implement reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect Personal Information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, taking into account the risks involved in processing and the nature of the data, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

VII. GENERAL.

a. Children. 

We do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children under the age of thirteen through our Website. If you are under 13, please do not give us anyPersonal Information. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce our Privacy Policy by instructing their children never to provide Personal Information to us without their permission.
